Origin4Trade is a behavioral tool. It can flag patterns such as overtrading. It does not remove market risk, does not guarantee any result, and is not investment advice. It does not know your financial situation and does not assess whether trading is suitable for you.
By default Origin4Trade only monitors and sends warnings. If you choose to switch on automatic closing, a high-risk pattern can make it close your open positions automatically, at the prevailing market price, without asking you first, when predefined risk parameters are detected. This can crystallise a loss, or a gain, at a moment you would not have chosen. Slippage, price gaps and connectivity can affect the price at which a position closes, and a position can fail to close. The service can also be wrong: it may act on a position you would have kept, and it may fail to detect a pattern.
If automatic closing is enabled and a cooling-off pause starts, the service does not stop you from opening new positions through your own platform.
Alerts and automatic closing depend on connectivity, your broker platform and third-party services. They can be delayed or fail. Do not rely on Origin4Trade as your only risk control, and keep your own stop-losses and limits.
Demo accounts do not reproduce real market conditions: slippage, gaps and execution differ. Results on a demo account say little about what would happen on a real one.
